Wicked food! Got the Bannock Pizza deal with boneless ribs, fries and pasta salad. We added a side of gravy and happy we did. Super good. Great price. Can't wait to try again!

Hamburger soup was great. They gave us a free pizza that didn't get picked up. That was real tasty as well. Place looks busy as lots of door dash, skip deliveries going out the door. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu soon.

I've been wanting to go to Shelly's Indigenous Bistro since it has been open. Heard lots of great reviews. So today was the day to go and it was very rewarding. The staff is very friendly and quick. The food was delicious and it was a good portion of food. Yummy Bannock and Fry bread! Bannock Taco, you gotta try it! I also got a pair of the Bannock Buns sweats. Love the place!! Next time I go I'm gonna try the pizza!!

We visited Shelly's Bistro on a friend’s recommendation to try their bannock, and it was a satisfying experience that fulfilled my curiosity about this traditional treat. I loved that my first taste of bannock was here, and even my family enjoyed the baked bannock we brought home. It was just the two of us visiting on a weekday lunch. The bistro itself has a modest, no-frills setup with a few tables—more practical than cozy but suitable for a quick meal. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. We ordered the bannock pizza, bannock taco, chicken fried rice, and bannock bites with blueberry jam. The bannock pizza was amazing, with a unique crust that really stood out. We actually received two orders of the pizza (four slices in total), even though we only ordered one, but we decided to take it to go since we’d already paid (2ordered) and didn’t want it to go to waste. The bannock taco was filling and delicious, with fresh toppings and salsa on the side that complemented the flavors well. The chicken fried rice was okay, with a generous portion—nothing particularly memorable but satisfying enough. The bannock bites were a fun treat, letting us experience the classic bannock taste, and the blueberry jam was unique with its bittersweet and slightly sour flavor.

Got the special Mc chicken bacon cheese burger with fries. I substituted my fries for onion rings for $20 for my meal. From the time I called to when I got my food in my hand was a half hour. Guess not too bad 15 minutes extra wait. Only 2 tables to sit as it's a takeout and catering place. Pretty much standing at the table of people who were eating. sorry about that I bet u didn't want someone backside at you while you were eating. I love bannock but it was too greasy along with the chicken. I didn't finish my meal. I'm not giving up I'm going to go back and try something else. I'm missing onion rings in this picture, as they didn't make it home

A must-try when in Winnipeg! Great food and service. I ordered the Bannock Cheeseburger combo, and it was delicious with generous portions. Highly recommended!
